We will be adding building, landuse, and other OSM features to Port Townsend, Washington, USA.

The weekend of March 1-2, 2025.
Where
Wherever you map the best! Pick a cafe, a cozy chair, your favorite cat, or wherever and start mapping!
Why
Port Townsend is a area that has much more building and coverage than currently is present in OpenStreetMap. Some areas, like the Fort Worden State Park are well mapped but areas such as downtown are severely lacking.

Resources
Street View: Bing Streetside is available throughout Port Townsend last updated in 2015, Mapillary is not as well covered.
Aerial Imagery: Esri has high resolution aerial imagery available for Port Townsend.
Address Information: Address information is present in OSM for a lot of Port Townsend. When you make a building, please conflate the address to the building when appropriate.
Building Footprints: Microsoft Buildings has suggestions for a lot of Port Townsend which may serve as a good first addition but refinement is absolutely needed.
