West Fork Fire Complex 2013

 The West Fork Fire Complex was multiple fires as part of the 2013 Colorado Wildfire Season. This set of wildfires were burning between/near the towns of Pagosa Springs (largest 'city' in the area, but which was not threatened by the fires), Creede, and South Fork. The entire town of South Fork was evacuated the morning of June 21, 2013, most of the town residents were allowed to return home June 29. Most evacuations have been lifted, check locally for details. HOT mappers responded with disaster mapping work while it was still a dynamic situation with multiple ignitions in the area; the West Fork Fire, the Windy Pass Fire, and later the Papoose Fire. Response Phase
An effort to coordinate OSM editing for the Black Forest Fire 2013 was scaled up to include the most threatening, to life and property, fires burning in the State of Colorado.

Suggested mapping priority:
- Roads off 149 and 160 that head into fire area.
- Residential polygons and buildings between 149 and 160.
- Structures in Creede, Wolf Creek area, and along 149/160 on N/E side (other side of main fire)
- Roads on outer side of 149/160
- Natural polygons
