Custom Vector Map Service

Since 2016, Hebstreits offers a Custom Vector Map Service

with a focus on high-quality / mostly native urban art maps that can be used for various scenarios.

The infinitely scalable maps are often be used by business clients as signage, prints or blow-ups in advertising.

The user is shown a preview map to narrow down the map to be created. The data on which the vector map is based may vary in terms of the time of publication and the layer difference. Hebstreits guarantees the production of vector maps within 2-3 working days. A 95% match between the delivered end product and the preview map is achieved.

The existing base maps styles are color-coded and can be grouped in one layer or separated into different layers.

The content is divided into graphical groups.

The most common groups are

• Highways, main roads, secondary roads
• minor streets
• paths, footpaths, service and residential
• rails
• greens, nature, sports, parks
• waterways
• water, wetland and ocean

Bridges and tunnels, for example, are not categorized separately. However, they are represented by graphical solutions of stored outlines.

The aim is an easy-to-use design that can be handled efficiently in the area of large-format print productions.

• Instructions for handling and separating the graphic vectors have been added.
• Extended print licenses with and without digital commercial use are available.

Since 2023, labels have also been available in addition to the existing designs.

Vector maps with labels are produced for various scales according to the users's specifications. The user can select the appropriate resolution for the map and labels from a preview and also has the option of increasing the level of detail by adding further labels.
