HIV Facilities Tagging (MapBeks)
Mapbeks is tagging HIV/AIDS (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) facilities in the Philippines. It has identified more than 600 facilities all over the country through crowdsourcing and online resources.
The table shows the tagging scheme used in tagging identified clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and offices:
All HIV-themed facilities will be tagged with infection:hiv=yes
Based on the discussions conducted with the OSM Tagging community via the mailing list, the best recommendation is to tag features separately in order to avoid mixing up of supplementary tags such as operating hours and other contact information.
Tagging scheme for HIV facilities
All facility definitions are referenced from the Philippine Department of Health's Administrative Order (AO) 2014-0005 and suppplemented by AO 2020-0047
The amenity=doctors tag will only be used if the identified facility is a hospital, an ngo, or a clinic with other services being provided in the area. But if a facility is solely used for HIV-related services kindly proceed in tagging it with the primary tag.
