Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta) is a city in Indonesia at latitude 6°10′30.00″ South, longitude 106°49′35.76″ East.
The city, most often known as just Jakarta, is also one of the provinces subdividing Indonesia at its primary level, and the capital of the country.

- Article 2: 'With this Law, the Special Capital Region of Jakarta is changed to the Special Province of Jakarta.'
- Article 73: 'This Law will come into effect at the time the Presidential Decree regarding the transfer of the Capital City of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia from the Special Capital Region of Jakarta to the New Capital City is established.'
- 5 June 2024 : President Joko Widodo stated that the Presidential Decree regarding the transfer of the Capital City from DKI Jakarta to the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) is still in process. He did not rule out the possibility that the Presidential Decree could be signed by the elected President, Prabowo Subianto, once he is inaugurated as president in October.[2]

RDF Plant Rorotan
- The Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Plant in Rorotan is being developed on a 7.87-hectare site, with construction initiated in May 2024 at a cost of Rp 1.28 trillion, funded by the 2024 DKI Jakarta Regional Budget. The facility is scheduled for inauguration in April 2025. Designed to serve all districts in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and East Jakarta, the RDF plant will process waste into alternative fuel. In its initial phase, the processed RDF will be supplied as fuel to PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk's

Citeureup. The plant has the capacity to process 2,500 tons of waste per day. From 2,000 tons of raw waste, it can produce approximately 875 tons of RDF fuel with a calorific value of over 3,000 kcal/kg, a moisture content of less than 20%, and shredded particle sizes of under 5 cm.[3]
