The key balloon:height=* describes the approximate altitude in meters of a (tethered) balloon, maximum height or the reached atmosphere (stratosphere)
Tagging
Add balloon:height=* to an aeroway:balloon=launchpad, aeroway:balloon=airstrip, tower:type=anchor or building=* where it's launched or tethered.
Units
The default unit is meters. No need to add the unit (just the number).
Examples
- balloon:height=150 - for a tethered balloon with a 150m tether (balloon:type=tethered)
- balloon:height=3000 - for a leisure balloon which doesn't go above 3000m (balloon:tours=*)
- balloon:height=stratosphere - if the launched balloons reach the stratosphere (balloon:launch=monitoring)
