The key disused:craft=* is used for former craft=* features which are in a reasonable state of repair but which are currently unused. Examples include vacant buildings or a room in a ground level building.
For former craft=* features which can only be returned to use with significant repair efforts, use the prefix abandoned:*=* instead.
How to tag
Add disused:craft to a node or area which represents a disused craft=*. For example, a bakery craft which is now shut down but still has a sign with the name "Merideth's Bread" on the building would be tagged:
This makes it unavailable to programs which find crafts, and unlikely to be displayed as crafts in any default renderings. The name is still relevant, and will still be searchable. If the area is opened up again, it's a simple matter to undo the prefixing.
