This tag records the number of modules (panels) in a single tagged solar generator. Most solar installations are comprised of a number of separate modules, which are often visible in aerial imagery. Tagging the number of modules is helpful for estimating the power output of a solar installation.
This tag is most useful for small generators, especially those mapped as nodes. Larger groups of panels, for example in solar farms, should be mapped as areas, and the power output can be estimated from the area.
