The light:power=* tag is used to indicate the power rating or electric energy consumption (measured in watts, W
) consumed by a light_source=*.
Values
Common values may include, but are not limited to:
Power Consumption (light:power=*) | Approx. lumens output (light:flux=*) | |
---|---|---|
Incandescent Bulb (light:method=incandescent) |
Light-Emitting Diode (light:method=LED) | |
light:power=25 W | light:power=3 W | light:flux=200 lm |
light:power=40 W | light:power=5 – 8 W | light:flux=450 lm |
light:power=60 W | light:power=8 – 12 W | light:flux=800 lm |
light:power=75 W | light:power=10 – 16 W | light:flux=1100 lm |
light:power=100 W | light:power=14 – 17 W | light:flux=1600 lm |
light:power=150 W | light:power=24 – 30 W | light:flux=2600 lm |
Note that the values for LEDs in the above table are ranges because efficiency varies, but the value of light:power=* should be a single number such as light:power=10 W.
The unit W
may be specified explicitly but is not required and assumed to be the default if no unit is included.
