An official name in English language. Note that it is only rarely useful:
- If object is in place where this language dominates and official names in other languages are not specified, then simply official_name=* is sufficient
- If official name and common name match, then usually name=* or name:en=* is enough. Though if official name is unusual then it can be used.
The English language has no language regulator or language academy in general, but some national governments designate official toponyms and exonyms in English. In the rare event of a simultaneous discrepancy between countries, languages, and official and common usage, further qualification may be needed per BCP 47 and ISO 3166-2, for example official_name:en-US=*.
