Key:ref:NBd

Reference number used by the Nationale Bewegwijzeringsdienst (Nationale Signage service) of the Netherlands. The tag cam be used for the numbers of road junctions and directional traffic signs.

How to map

Road junction

For road junctions, add the following tags to the node of where the ways meet:

• junction=yes - tells that this node represents a junction
• ref:NBd=* - the reference number of the junction, e.g. 00005

Example of a road junction: Junction number 00005

Directional traffic sign

For traffic signs, add a node on the actual location of the traffic sign with the following tags:

• traffic_sign=NL:xxx - tells the type of traffic sign, where 'xxx' is the type reference of the traffic sign from the official list in the RVV 1990, e.g. NL:K10
• ref:NBd=* - the reference number of the traffic sign, e.g. 00005/002
