County level and above

The codes are published annually on the website of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, e.g. 2023.
Sub-county and non-statutory administrative areas
The Statistics Bureau also numbers the non-statutory administrative areas for statistical purposes. However, the Civil Affairs Bureau and the Statistics Bureau each have their own numbers, so the key is divided into:
