The seats:separated=* tag is used to specify whether or not the seats on a feature, most commonly a bench, are physically separated from one another.

Separation may take the form of gaps between seats, armrests, or small protrusions included as a  hostile architecture element.

Values

Note that seats:separated=* is used only to indicate the presence or lack of separation, not to specify the number of separated seats.

Examples

1. A bench with separated seats

A photo of a bench, which has a backrest and seat separators but not armrests

2. A bench without separated seats

A photo of two benches, which do have backrests and do not have armrests, in a park setting
