A Strapline is an advertising slogan, commonly seen on shop advertising materials and signs. They can also be known as advertising phrases, catchphrases, taglines, or mottoes.
Note that OSM follows on the Ground Rule. Names recorded in the name=* and strapline=* tags should be ones that are locally used, especially ones typically signposted.[1]
