• Increase OSM awareness, use and contributors.
  • The free app Organic Maps is a great way to see and use OpenStreetMap data.
  • Using the app StreetComplete in a simple way to contribute data to the OpenStreetMap database.
• Clean up Map notes, including businesses trying to add themselves using OnOsm.org.
• One-way to two-way street conversion.

• Make OSM the best map for exploring the Lansing River trail by:
  • Follow the guidelines laid out in the Ottawa Bike Tagging Guide.
  • Adding points of interest on and near the trail.
  • Adding missing amenities along the trail such as; benches, water, restrooms, picnic tables, shelters and playgrounds.
  • Improving routing, by adding connector paths and sidewalks.
  • Add flood_prone=yes to sections that flood. Completed.
• Map the amenities along the Middle Grand River Water Trail. Completed.
• Prepare and submit our area for review/rating at PlacesForBikes (see below).
• Properly map Potter Park Zoo tourism=zoo.
• Help local businesses with:
  • Switching to OpenStreetMap
  • Open Place Reviews
• Take advantage of MapRoulette.org
• Once complete, add new bike lanes and the new Shiawassee trail, seen here on the City of Lansing's Construction Map.
• Publish maps like those found at Bike Ottawa Maps
