OSM Inspector/Views/Public Transport - Non-rail Infrastructure

The Public Transport – Non-rail infrastructure view in OSM Inspector shows all non-railway infrastructure such as aerialways, taxi stands or bus guideways.

This stuff is experimental. See User:Oxomoa/Public_transport_schema. More to come.

Overview

This view should help users to map public transport related non-railway infrastructures according to the enhanced modeling schema described in the proposal mentioned above. The view visualizes map features representing non-railway infrastructure (such as aerialways, taxi stands or bus guideways) and helps users to find mapping errors by showing obvious errors and warnings.

Data sources

All data in this view is derived from OSM data.

Layers

The dark green Aerialways layer shows all ways tagged with aerialway=cable_car, aerialway=chair_lift or aerialway=drag_lift. On higher zoom levels, the values of the tag aerialway=* for each way (i.e. the type names) become visible.

The light blue Highways with trolley wires layer shows all ways tagged with highway=* and trolley_wire=yes.

The dark blue Bus guideways layer shows all ways tagged with highway=bus_guideway. On higher zoom levels, the names of those bus guideways additionally tagged with name=* become visible.

The black Taxi stands layer shows all nodes tagged with amenity=taxi. On higher zoom levels, the names of those taxi stands additionally tagged with name=* become visible.

The brown Elevators layer shows all nodes tagged with highway=elevator. On higher zoom levels, the names of those elevators additionally tagged with name=* become visible.

The purple Conveyors layer shows all ways tagged with highway=conveyor. On higher zoom levels, the names of those conveyors additionally tagged with name=* become visible.

The pink Escalators layer shows all ways tagged with highway=steps and escalator=yes. On higher zoom levels, the names of those escalators additionally tagged with name=* become visible.

The light grey Railway infrastructure layer simply visualizes all public transport railway infrastructure and therefore just serves as an orientation guide.

The light grey Stops layer simply visualizes all public transport stops and therefore just serves as an orientation guide.
