trolley_wire:forward=yes and trolley_wire:backward=yes can be used on two way streets that have trolley wires only on one side.
On one way streets with trolleybuses that drive against the traffic direction trolley_wire:backward=yes can be used.
Redundancy with trolleybus=yes
trolley_wire=yes may be redundant with trolleybus=yes, especially on road ways. When trolley_wire=yes is applied, trolleybus=yes can be implied most of the times.
