A comfortable waiting area for customers, possibly with extra amenities or sustenance (food=yes), like those found in airport lounges, train or bus stations, ferry terminals, malls, or elsewhere. Compared to what maybe available in common areas, many of these lounges are quieter, offer more comfortable chairs, cleaner toilets (toilets=yes), showering facilities (shower=yes), or access to their buffet service.

Some premium lounges cater only to certain ticket classes (in passenger terminals), or limited to members (membership=required) only. If the lounge is also available for paying customers, add fee=yes, with (membership=yes).

For airport lounges that are situated after passing through security, consider adding airside=yes, or see airside=* for other options.
