Tag:piste:type=connection

This tag describes ways that connect ski lifts with each other, to be used for any type of ski lift users. Use oneway=* to clarify if the connection is explicitly twoways or not (due to inclination for example).

The piste as way

In the simplest case, the piste can be drawn with a new way , add the following:

• piste:type=connection
• oneway=*

The piste as area

If you want to draw the piste as a area , add the following:

• area=yes
• piste:type=connection

The piste as relation

If the piste is composed of several existing segments, e.g. Sections that are in the summer ways or paths, a relation can be used.

Create a Relation:route with the property route=piste. Add the segments as members.
