The tag tactile_paving=incorrect is used where tactile paving is installed incorrectly or not used not in a sensible way, e.g. if the paving is symmetric for visual pleasure but on one of the sides it leads to nothing. It can be correct and make sense if the tactile covering leads to a building wall, because the way continues next to the wall, and it can be used for orientation with a white cane.

If only one sloped curb at a crossing has tactile paving, this may be considered "incorrect", some mappers prefer the tag tactile_paving=partial on a crossing node instead (because if e.g. one side has a correct tactile paving and the other has none at all, then there is no incorrectly installed tactile paving anywhere).
