Differentiate between Old and New Main Signals at Tagging?
Why do you differentiate between old and new distant signals (railway:signal:distant:states=railway:signal:distant:states=FI-v:Eo0;FI-v:Eo1;FI-v:Eo2
vs. railway:signal:distant:states=railway:signal:distant:states=FI:Eo0;FI:Eo1;FI:Eo2
) at distant signals but not at main signals (both old and new main signals get (railway:signal:main:states=railway:signal:distant:states=FI-v:Po0;FI-v:Po1;FI-v:Po2
vs. railway:signal:main:states=railway:signal:distant:states=FI:Po0;FI:Po1;FI:Po2
)? Is this a typo (i.e. you forgot to add -v
to old main signal tagging)? --Nakaner (talk) 11:14, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
- Now it has been changed and both new and old distant signals have the same aspect tags. Originally the idea was to distinguish signals of different colors from each other, but because old and new distant signals still have the same aspects (Expect Stop, Expect 35 and Expect Proceed), it is more obviously that both signals also have the same tags (e.g.
railway:signal:distant:states=FI:Eo0;FI:Eo1;FI:Eo2
). --Anttihav (talk) 13:44, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
