Talk:Import/Colorado Addresses

Status in 2025?

I was wondering if you had any desire or status on continuing to import this data? I have also been playing with the latest datasets, and I've created geojson files with OSM compatible tags for every county in Colorado. I split it to counties because the statewide address dataset is just too large to work with. Process: (download gigantic data, geojsplit to county, import to QGIS and sanitize data, concatenate fields in Field Calculator, rename appropriate fields to OSM standard and delete extraneous fields, and export as a sanitized OSM friendly file). I was planning on using them as reference when I manually edit certain areas (not automated or mechanical edits), but if you'd find the OSM-friendly files helpful for an import, let me know and we can coordinate. I have no idea how the formal import process works, but if you're willing to help pioneer this process I'd love to support it. --Omgitsgela (talk) 22:41, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
