Request for visual difference + describing the symbol

Hi, it would be cool to explain the difference between route marker and trailblaze with 2 (or more) images. It would help people who understands little english. Also, how I describe what's on a route marker? I mapped this (v1): https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/11180682276 but E32 is the ref of the route, not of the route marker. Is there a method to keep this information? Adding it to the relation with role=route_marker can help, but not everyone is happy with it (see changeset comments). I looked at osmc:symbol=* but seems is to be used on type=route. Thoughts?
