Tag status

@Tms13: Please notice that we currently have this definition of the tag status. So in case of 'maxspeed:type=construction' and for now 2 uses at all, status could be "proposed" or "undefined", but definitely not "de facto" IMHO. --Regards, Chris2map (talk) 12:11, 28 September 2024 (UTC)

You're right. Tag History showes a start in 2014 and a top count in 2017 with around 600. It has since disappeared again. Obviously the support or importance is no longer there. Therefore I would currently leave it set to undefined. --Chris2map (talk) 18:08, 9 October 2024 (UTC)

Temporary tag

@Tms13: Due to the temporary nature of construction (works) there should be a note on the tag page that there is to consider if adding such a tag is meaningful or undesirable in a particular case.
