27 countries?

Aren't there 27 countries (and not 25) in the european union?

http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_européenne

Correct ;-) It's just because I stupidly copied some old EEA documents. Shame on me. -- Pieren 20:49, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

I pinged the Dutch SP about this dataset and respectable license for The Netherlands. --Skinkie 23:02, 13 May 2009 (UTC) Now almost a year later; CLC2006 usage is granted, if attribution and if possible just a regular email about the status is presented. Spain and Portugal

What about Spain and Portugal? Can anyone import the data to the map? I don't knwo how to do it. Muro de Aguas 13:33, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Is CLC data become open?

I tried to find the specific license page, but now it redirects to the general license page, which allows commercial use also. Is it means that the license was changed, and we can use CLC data in OpenStreetMap for all country? Or were can I find the restriction? --City-busz 14:48, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

That's how it appears. The download page, Corine Land Cover 2000 seamless vector data - version 13 (02/2010) says:

EEA standard re-use policy: unless otherwise indicated, re-use of content on the EEA website for commercial or non-commercial purposes is permitted free of charge, provided that the source is acknowledged (http://www.eea.europa.eu/legal/copyright). Copyright holder: European Environment Agency.

Is there any reason not to update this article to say simply that all the Corine data can be used in OSM? Tongro 16:36, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

Precision of data

Hi there, we have a claim here, that there is a 25-m-precision (removed, because ojw also doesn't know it) ... does anybody know the precision of the data? I am not an expert and I can't find any data here and also not on Wikipedia. Otherwise this wrong information should be removed in the other iotd-translations.
