Hello, I am a mapper from Zürich, Switzerland. My focus is on the mapping of free points of interest, which are freely accessible and can be used by everyone and sustainable point of interest.

How to contribute

Do you like to be outside?

Then find public and free facilities and offers and add them in OpenStreetMap. Always check if they really exist by visiting them.

• Check out the list of known public and free facilities and offers.
• Do research on the Internet.
• Keep an eye out when you're on the road.

Vespucci (Android) and Go Map!! (iOS) are useful helpers on the road.

Do you like to take pictures?

Visit already registered facilities and photograph them and link the picture in OpenStreetMap. My maps support the tags mapillary, flickr, wikimedia_commons and image. Wiki page about Photo linking

Can you translate English into another language?

Help translate the OpenStreetMap Wiki or Apps into your languages. My Sustainable Map can be translated via Weblate (even without registration).

Do you like to write?

Complete the description of the facilities/tags or from the softwares in the OpenStreetMap Wiki.

Can you program?

• Help improve the OpenStreetMap ecosystem.
• Improve my apps (OSM Apps Catalog, Sustainable map) and send me a Pull Requests.
• Or extend the support for tags and keys in the OpenStreetMap tools. iD (Browser), JOSM (PC), Vespucci (Android), Go Map!! (iOS)

Can I use your app source code

Yes. The apps are licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. The code is free for use, copying and modification if you publish under the same license.

The code from the Sustainable Map can be used as a basis for your own theme map.

I cannot program, how can I create my own theme map?

Try one of the following services:

• MapComplete (Wiki)
• MapContrib (Wiki)
• uMap (Wiki)
• overpass turbo (Wiki) You can use the "Wizard" to create a query, it also understands words like " Lake", " Bakery" and so on
