ich finde das englische Original der Sample driving instructions nicht. Die Übersetzugen sind verlinkt, aber wo ist die englische Version? Ich komm mir dämlich vor :)

TMC
Bezugnehmend auf unsere Diskussion: Ich habe bemerkt, dass es nun seit letzten Dienstag Grenz-Relationen der Gemeinden gibt. Daraufhin habe ich nun alle TMC-Codes, die vorher an Nodes oder deinen Ways waren, an die entsprechende Relation angehängt. - Ich hab' mal ein Bild gemacht, auf dem aufgetragen ist, welchen Gemeinden bereits TMC Location Codes zugewiesen wurden (rot). Dazu hab' ich zwei Fragen:
- - Wie Du siehst, sind noch ein paar Gemeinden ohne Location Code. Ich konnte diese Gemeinden auch nicht in den Listen finden. Kann es sein, das die TMC-Datenbank in Bezug auf Gemeinden nicht vollständig ist? Wäre ja möglich, das z.B. nur die Gemeinden Location Codes haben, durch die auch eine Autobahn / Bundesstraße / Staatsstraße / usw. führt.
- - Wie ist das mit gemeindefreien Gebieten? Geht da TMC darauf ein?

Ja, ich bin's schon wieder 
- Die TMC-Areas haben alle ein TMC:cid_58:tabcd_1:Class=Area, die Roads haben jedoch keine Klassenangabe. Gut, allein schon die Tatsache, dass das alles route=road-Relationen sind, reicht ja eigentlich, oder?

- Mittlerweile sind ja auch schon viele der Roads automatisch importiert worden. Wozu dann der Hinweis, das der Import noch nicht gestartet ist?

- Möchtest Du die Roads alle über den TMC-Importer importieren, oder soll das auch manuell erfolgen? Hintergrund: Ich erweitere gerade das TMC-Preset von Sebastian Klein für JOSM um Roads. Wenn das ja aber alles automatisch importiert wird, kann ich mir die Arbeit sparen...

- Wenn der Lauf für die Roads durch ist, lad ich die Dateien für Roads, Nodes und Segments hoch und die Wiki-Seiten für Areas die keine Administrative Areas sind.
TMC - Links auf die Städte und Gemeinden
Hallo Marcus,
ich habe gerade versucht, meine Gegend in den TMC-Listen zu finden - das fällt schwer. Darum möchte ich vorschlagen, die Listen wie folgt zu verändern: Eine weitere Spalte einfügen, die auf die Stadt oder Gemeinde im Wiki verlinkt, z.B. Seelze. Auf vielen der Städte und Gemeinden-Seiten gibt es schon einen Link auf alle Seiten, die auf die angezeigte Seite verlinken (Gibt es sogar links im Kasten "Werkzeuge", aber auf den Städteseiten nochmal explizit). Dann würden lokale Mapper die richtige TMC-Seite gut finden können.

- Du nimmst den Gemeindenamen und umschließt ihn mit doppelten eckigen Klammern, z.B. so: Seelze. Entweder es gibt die Seite,
dann kann man den blauen Link anklicken, oder es gibt die Seite nicht, dann hab ich wieder eine Seite anzulegen...
- Kreise klappen nicht immer, weil sie unterschiedlich heißen, mal Kreis Düren, mal Landkreis Celle, mal Region Hannover... aber eigentlich sollte es überall eine Weiterleitung von Landkreis Soundso auf die Seite geben.
TMC - Doppelte Bemerkung in .osm-Datein

in https://wolschon.kleinbetrieb.biz/tmclcl/TMCPoint_60388.osm kommt zweimal ein Kommentar für die area vor - das zweite sollte für die road sein.

automatischer TMC-Import für Roads - fehleranfällig?
Hallo Marcus,
ich bin gerade mal fasziniert die Liste der Roads durchgegangen um mal zu schauen, was noch zu taggen ist. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass die automatische Zuordnung für eine der stau-trächtigsten Straßen Deutschlands, der A 1 leider völlig in die Hose gegangen ist (TMC:cid_58:tabcd_1:LocationCode = 50060). Die Tags wurden jetzt nämlich der A 1 in Italien zugeordnet. Nicht, dass das noch bei anderen Autobahnen so passiert ist.

- Argh. Ich hatte gerüft dass die Strasse komplett innerhalb einer Bounding-Box von 150% um die TMC-Strasse liegen muss. Kannst du das Tag löschen und die als TODO im Wiki markieren? Danke. --MarcusWolschon 12:55, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for bothering you about this, but it is important to know source of the uploaded files.
Are you the author of image File:HouseNumbersInterpolation.png ?
Or is it copied from some other place (which one?)?
Please, add this info to the file page - something like "I took this photo" or "downloaded from -website link-" or "I took this screeshot of program XYZ".
Doing this would be already very useful.
Licensing - photos
In case that you are the author of the image: Would you agree to open licensing of this image, allowing its use by anyone (similarly to your OSM edits)?
In case where it is a photo you (except relatively rare cases) author can make it available under a specific free license.
Would you be OK with CC0 (it allows use without attribution or any other requirement)?
Or do you prefer to require attribution and some other things using CC-BY-SA-4.0?
If you are the author: Please add {{CC0-self}} to the file page to publish the image under CC0 license.
You can also use {{CC-BY-SA-4.0-self}} to publish under CC-BY-SA-4.0 license.
Once you add missing data - please remove {{Unknown|subcategory=uploader notified March 2022}} from the file page.

If it is not a photo situation gets a bit more complicated.

note: if you took screenshot of program made by someone else, screenshot of OSM editor with aerial imagery: then licensing of that elements also matter and you are not a sole author.
note: If you downloaded image made by someone else then you are NOT the author.
Note that in cases where photo is a screenshot of some software interface: usually it is needed to handle also copyright of software itself.
Note that in cases where aerial imagery is present: also licensing of an aerial imagery matter.

Please ask there if you are not sure what is the proper next step. Especially when you are uploading files that are not your own work or are derivative work (screenshots, composition of images, using aerial imagery etc).
