About

The Siliguri Government Polytechnic Chapter was established in 2025 and is proudly affiliated with Siliguri Government Polytechnic. Our mission is to empower students to use geospatial tools for positive global change, focusing on sustainable development, disaster preparedness, and community resilience. Through open mapping and collaboration, our chapter contributes to improving global geographic data, fostering a sense of responsibility, and inspiring youth leadership in mapping and GIS.

This organisation is maintained by Drushti's Siliguri Government Polytechnic Chapter, along with FOSS Club Siliguri Government Polytechnic. More information can be found here.

Activities

Currently, all activites in this chapter are lead by Nilabrata Sanyal (aka NLBRT). Our chapter organizes and leads various activities aimed at enhancing mapping efforts, building skills, and contributing to meaningful projects aligned with the Organized Editing Guidelines.
