Pros
- Good drawing skills will help you to get fine details
- Very cheap and independent of weather conditions (pencil will work from -60°C to +40°C) just make sure to protect paper (water and physical damage)
- No need in electricity (permanent or batterers)
- Low weight
- Low cost
Cons
- Same as with using your memory
- You will need $1 to pay for paper and pencil
- You may need reliable light source (it would be difficult to write during storm or night time)
