The European Environment Agency (EEA) is an agency of the European Union. Its task is to provide sound, independent information on the environment. They are information source for those involved in eveloping, adopting, implementing and evaluating environmental policy, and also the general public. Currently, the EEA has 32 member countries.

EEA copyright allows inclusion of EEA data into Openstreetmap. This was also confirmed by several emails (EEA-100503.0001 thread).

Attribution
For attribution purposes, use attribute "source=EEA - dataset", (e.g. "source=EEA - CLC2006" for corine land cover 2006 dataset). Also list the import in Import/Catalogue.
