This key contains the reference number for the RUIAN database of properties in the Czech Republic. It contains reference id of the RUIAN's address point.
Note! Because of iD's autocompletion, this tag sometimes appears outside the Czech Republic. When it does, it almost always is intended to be the ref=* tag. When encountered, change appropriately!
The address point is usually only single node in OSM created by Import adres z RUIAN from RUIAN, however it could be attached to a building area manually as well.

There is an older and deprecated version of this key ref:ruian=*. But there are RUIAN ids for address points, buildings, municipalities, parcel of lands etc. So it would be wise to distinguish the ids from each other as they can "meet" on single OSM element.
