taginfo: source:* |
This page describes a key prefix rather than a simple key.
The source:*=* prefix is a namespace identifier for specifying the source of a tag.
This is especially useful for tags that are likely to run into verifiability issues.
Format
This prefix is used in the following format: source:<key>=<value>
Keys
The key following the source:*=* prefix is generally a property.
Values
The value following the paired source:*=* prefix and key is generally a classification type or a direct link to the source, usually a website.
How to tag
Add the source:*=* prefix with the appropriate key and value to the node,
area, or
relation for a feature.
