Location

The conference itself was held at the Humanities Lime Grove building on the main Manchester University campus.

On Saturday evening, many of the delegates enjoyed a group meal at the Al-Bilal Restaurant, one of the restaurants on Manchester's famous "Curry Mile". The cost of the meal was included in the conference price, covered by the generous corporate sponsorship received.

The Kro Bar, 325 Oxford Road, acted as an unofficial second home during the conference, serving food and drinks until very late.
