- shop=sewing - a shop that sells miscellaneous sewing supplies, such as fabric, thread, sewing machines, notions, etc.
- shop=haberdashery - a shop that primarily sells notions only (buttons, threads, zippers, ribbon, etc).
- shop=fabric - a shop that primarily sells fabric and other materials for the purpose of making clothes and other products; e.g. upholstery.
- shop=wool - a shop selling yarn for knitting or crochet.
- shop=craft - an arts and crafts supply store. Commonly sold items are paper, canvas, paint, pencils, crafting wood, crafting tools, etc.
- craft=tailor - a place where clothing is made, repaired, or altered professionally, especially suits and men's clothing.
- shop=tailor - a tag mostly used for the same thing as craft=tailor. Some mappers prefer to use the shop key only for places where pre-made goods are sold (not custom goods or services like a tailors) however the shop=tailor tag is older and still used more often.
- craft=dressmaker - a person who makes custom clothing for women, such as dresses, blouses, and evening gowns. (See discussion about suggested merging of this tag)
