This tag is for indicating that a map feature such as a cafe, shop, restaurant, etc. offers internet access to the public, either as a paid service or for free. It is used when the specific type of internet access, such as WLAN (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet), is not known.
As an example, a campsite that offers internet access should be tagged primarily as tourism=camp_site
and additionally internet_access=yes
.

Consider using a more specific value such as:
internet_access=wlan
- for wireless internet access (e.g. Wi-Fi)internet_access=wired
- for wired internet access (e.g. Ethernet)internet_access=terminal
- for availability of a computer with internet access
How to map
- Add
internet_access=yes
to a feature such as an internet cafe, shop, restaurant, library, campsite, hotel or other location that offers public internet access.

if it is know whether payment or purchase is required. internet_access:operator=*
may be added to specify the network operator of the internet service
