The tag playground=youth_bench describes a special kind of bench for youth on playground – often with seating at different, age-appropriate seat heights (or for sitting higher with another beam or a bar to put your feet down). It should be tagged to separate objects within the area of a playground leisure=playground.

How to map

Use the tag playground=youth_bench on a node node or draw as a way way along the structure outline.

Tags used in combination

  • playground:theme=* – If the equipment has own theme (e.g. rocket)
  • baby=yes/no – If the equipment is primarily designed for babies

Playground area

To associate the playground area with the playground equipment, simply draw the leisure=playground as area area and add the equipment as independent objects (nodes node, ways way or polygons closed way) inside.
