A pulser pump involves no moving part and only takes advantage of water gravity. Large amount of water is sent from an upstream reservoir toward an air chamber.
The raising level of water allows a small amount of it to raise higher than the upstream reservoir through a pipe. Lowering the water level in the chamber allows some air to get in the pipe to lift the raising water. Output of such installation is always intermittent.
Most of the water in the chamber get out through a tail race shaft.
Such pumps are mainly used for irrigation processes and don't have any mechanical_driver=* nor require any power.
You may find some similarities with pump_mechanism=ram which relies on water hammer effect and dynamic pressure to raise water level with no required power.
