This is a tag for an activity where remotely controlled (RC) planes, helicopters and the like are flown.
The model aerodrome tag should only be set for official or well organized places, or such with legal permissions. There are some well-known places for remote controlled model gliders which should be included.
How to map
Since this is a non-physical tag it should be used in combination with physical tags, like one of these:
- club=sport for clubhouses of model clubs
- leisure=sports_centre for model aerodromes
