Places
In total there are 1.767 inhabited places in the Republic of Macedonia. The country is divided into 8 statistical regions and 84 municipalities. [1]
According to the State Statistical Office [2] Macedonia have one inhabited place with more than 100.000 inhabitants (Skopje), 4 between 50.000 and 100.000, 8 between 20.000 and 50.000 and 9 between 10.000 and 20.000.
