Feature Selection Stopped Working After A While
Played around for a while, made a few edits, and saved a few times. After the last save though I was no longer able to select nodes or ways. Worked fine again after a reload. Using Mac OS X 10.6.4, Safari 5, Flash Player 10 r45. --Ezekielf 03:17, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
- Should be fixed now, let us know if it reoccurs. --Richard 18:00, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
How to easily remove a member from a relation
I don't see how to remove a road from a cycle route relation. Smsm1 15:28, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Background popup doesn't close after choosing
When choosing a renderer, the renderer is used but to popup stays open. Wyo 21:14, 5 Aug. 2010 (UTC)
Actual zoom level isn't visible
The actual zoom level should be shown or popups on the +/- buttons with the target zoom levels. Wyo 21:35, 5 Aug. 2010 (UTC)
- Fixed (the current level will be shown when you mouse-over the +/- buttons) --Richard 13:41, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
Browser scrollbar area
Firefox 3.6.10: I've found that I always get browser scrollbars visible regardless of resizing. Removing the 1px border on the "map" DIV sorts them. Hackery 11:27, 13 October 2010 (BST)
- I can see the same problem with Chrome; only the right scrollbar is visible. Dleonard0 01:02, 23 October 2010 (BST)
- This is an embedding issue rather than a P2 bug, but fixed anyway (for Safari at least, on geowiki.com) --Richard 09:28, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Typo in the Help Menu
In the Help menu under the Editing (Beg.) tab the first line has a typo The line says "To add a point to an existing way, select the way and shift+click ad the desired location. It should have been "at the location". Arunmozhi 16:01, 15 October 2010 (IST or GMT+5:30)
- Thanks, fixed in r23586 Gravitystorm 12:34, 15 October 2010 (BST)
Shift+Click for new node on a path not working
I tried to add extra node in the path by using Shift+Click. But it doesn't seem to bee working (at least for me). I am using Firefox 3.6.10 on Ubuntu 10.04 with Flash Player 10. Arunmozhi 16:08, 15 October 2010 (IST or GMT+5:30)
- Try reloading the app. I think I'm seeing that after the first time you save, shift-click stops working. But before that it works fine. So, yes, a bug. Stevage 01:19, 17 October 2010 (BST)
- Yes. This stopped working for me too. Can't reproduce though -- Harry Wood 02:00, 17 October 2010 (BST)

Deleting tags is clunky
There's no little 'x' you can click on in the advanced mode to delete a tag. If you delete the key and the value, it seems the tag goes away, but it's a bit clunky. Stevage 00:36, 17 October 2010 (BST)
- There's a button marked Delete at the bottom, but perhaps a cross beside each one is clearer Gravitystorm 16:48, 21 October 2010 (BST)

Drag node on a bridge
- Trying to drag node:450389603 but I can't seem to get hold of it without dragging the whole bridge. See what I mean? I don't know if it's related to being a bridge, oneway, route relation or some combination of factors. (Firefox Ubuntu). -- Harry Wood 02:06, 17 October 2010 (BST)
- I too experienced similar problem while trying out to extend the length of a railway bridge. Only the whole bridge would move not a single node of the bridge. (Firefox Ubuntu 10.04) --Arunmozhi 11.16, 27 October 2010 (IST, GMT+5.30)

Create Parallel Way -> undo
Select a road. Click "Create Parallel Way" button. Hover around with the mouse, choosing a spot before clicking to place it. Ctrl+Z undo. ...and keep pressing it. It seems to undo the various the motions of the mouse. I suppose it means it's storing all mouse movements in the undo stack which seems odd. I'm just expecting it to remove the new way. -- Harry Wood 02:12, 17 October 2010 (BST)
- Known issue: see [1] Gravitystorm 16:45, 21 October 2010 (BST)
- Done -- Richard 12:20, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
- Enabling zoom to level 23, as per Potlatch 1. --Lakeyboy 11:04, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Unable to delete elements from relations
There is no (X) right to relation memberships and I haven't find any other way to remove an element from a relation.
- Fixed --Richard 09:14, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- 'B' -> source=xxx. IMHO this is critical.

OpenStreetBugs integration
There are many (known) bugs and quality issues within OSM data that need fixing. Exposing them better to mappers and users would hopefully be one way of getting them fixed. Therefore it would be nice if P2 could include an interface to OpenStreetBugs and/or some of the other Quality_Assurance tools. This way people could see errors and directly fix them, as well as close the bug reports. (Similar to how the Josm plugin handles it --Amm 14:11, 11 September 2010 (BST)
- A generic way to enable this sort of feature would be to overlay KML/GeoRSS feeds with the possibility of using a stylesheet to customise how they appear. Then authors of those Q&A tools should produce KML/GeoRSS feeds of their reports. The default OSM editor would definitely benefit from showing at least OpenStreetBugs reports. TomChance 09:04, 13 October 2010 (BST)
- Very much on the plan for P2, but as you say having kml feeds that respond to bbox requests will make our lives easier. Gravitystorm 10:11, 13 October 2010 (BST)
- That would be a great start, and should work very nicely for displaying only QA tools like the geofabrik OSM-inspector! But for interactive tools like OSB (and to a lesser degree keepright) where you can comment on bugs and close bugs as done, can kml / geoRSS handle that? Otherwise, it shouldn't be too hard to include other output formats to e.g. OSB. The OSB rails_port branch e.g. already supports several like json and xml. Amm 09:40, 28 October 2010 (BST)
- Excellent BugLayer stuff addresses this. --Richard 23:43, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

A link to the OSM browse pages for ways and nodes
When fixing data bugs, it is sometime useful to be able to lookup the history of an object. I.e. when it was last edited, by who and what the changeset comment was. Currently, you have to look at the way number, remember it, and then manually enter the URL for the browsepage for that object. It would be nice if one could have a direct link (presumably in the advanced tagging panel) to the browse page of objects, opening in a separate tab/window. --Amm 13:08, 12 September 2010 (BST)
- Clicking the id of the object on the advanced panel brings up the browse page. It's just the first step, better things are planned. Gravitystorm 10:13, 13 October 2010 (BST)
- Great, exactly what I was looking for! Only "issue", if you haven't read about that feature here or in the commit logs of P2, it is a little difficult to discover... ;-) Amm 09:43, 28 October 2010 (BST)
