In some regions of the world the tag public_transport=pole is used to identify the pole at public transport platforms.
NB : This tag was not included in the Public Transport scheme approved by the community in 2011. It is however distinct from the concept of the public_transport=platform tag. A bus stop may have a place where the bus stops public_transport=stop_position, a place where the passengers wait public_transport=platform and a pole indicating information public_transport=pole.
How to map
Place the tag on the position of the pole where the sign indicating a stop is placed.
It is usualy the placed where highway=bus_stop is placed.
