My Goal as an Editor on this Wiki
Introduction
When I am viewing this wiki for reference while editing OpenStreetMap or when I am contributing to JOSM svn, I've noticed that this wiki does not have very many contributors that are able to maintain and update current information about the tag pages. Especially when I've seen conflicting information or definitions used to describe tags with inaccuracies on other pages. I feel the information that is inaccurate and outdated will make it difficult for OSM map editors to find answers. Which in turn may flood OSM with incorrect tags.
Goal
My goal on this wiki is to modernize the wiki by collaborating information from the map features, tag and value pages. While doing this I want to fix page formatting and the numerous grammar and spelling errors for the native English language.
My Process
My process for editing is simple but extensive. I do this by checking each edit before submitting. I start by viewing the history on all related pages in question, while loosely looking for pages with data that is six months+ old. I collect data by collaborating information from the map features, tag and value pages. I also use the mailing list archives, taginfo, and use different overpass scripts to check for official uses and/or combinations that may be missing.

Useful HTML/CSS
Examples of code to help editors with this wiki.
Float an image right with an Infobox
InfoBox Example |
Key=example Value=example Image Description Elements Combination Status |
Using this example for posting an image will respect the Infobox that is typically on the right side.
<div style="float:right">[[File:A designated footpath.jpg|upright=0.6|thumb|right|A designated footway.]]</div>
The image on the right is respecting the infobox on the right while text wrapping on the left side. Without using this code the image would typically be pushed below the infobox on the right side. -->
